• Please join this fun competition that funds our scholarship program for our older contestants! To ensure everyone understands the guidelines, here are a few things to consider when participating:

• 1. Eligibility: Make sure your baby fits within the age range specified by the competition rules.  Age divisions are based on the contestant's age on January 1 of the competition year.   Age groups are as follows:  0-11 Months; 12-23 Months; 2 Years, and 3 Years.  We will split divisions if we have enough interest.  

• 2. Photo Quality: Submit a clear, high-quality photo of your baby or toddler. Good lighting and a happy, natural expression can make a big difference. Please remember that naturally retouched photos are allowed, however, full glitz photos will not be accepted.   Professional photos are not required.  We recommend that there is not heavy noise in the background of snapshot photos.  The focus should be your child. 

• 3. Age of Photo: The photo you submit should accurately represent your child's current appearance. It is strongly recommended that you provide a photo that is less than six months old. The maximum acceptable age for the photo submitted is 12 months. Judges will assess photos based on the child's age. For example, it would not be appropriate to submit an infant photo in the 2-year-old division.

• 4. Submission Requirements: Follow all the submission guidelines providing one photo for our roster page.   You may submit two additional photos before the deadline of April 15, 2025.

• 5. Consent: Important! Ensure you have the right to share the photo publicly.

• 6. Deadlines: Pay attention to the submission deadline to ensure your entry is considered is April 15, 2025. 

• 7.  Best of luck in the competition! Your beautiful baby is sure to bring smiles to many faces!

Your Entry Fee Includes:

• The $25 entry fee covers the cost of participating in the competition to vie for the prestigious titles of Miss USS Beautiful Baby. If chosen as the division winner, your crown and sash will be sent to you by mail, or you may opt to collect them at the national competition, although this is not mandatory. It is important to note that the $25 entry fee does not include the expenses for the state crown and sash, which are optional for those interested in representing their state and attending public events.
  Whether you secure the national title or represent your state queen title, you will have the opportunity to represent USS until January 1, 2026, when we will begin accepting state applications for the 2026 competition year.
